The Cache Gran Fondo is an annual Italian-style ride in Cache Valley in Northern Utah. The centiry and half-century rides are not officially timed, however there is an digital race clock at the start and finish of the race so all riders can test their ride time.
The Cache Gran Fondo occurs on the 2nd Saturday of every July and riders can ride either on a 50-mile or 100-mile route. Proceeds from the 2013, 2014 and 2015 ride went toward accomplishing a goal to fund breast cancer screenings for uninsured women who live in Cache Valley, and in 2016, a percentage of the proceeds, as well as 100% of any additional donations you make, will be donated to the Logan Regional Hospital Foundation to continue to fund this special service.
After all of the participants have crossed the finish line, they can participate in the Cache Gran Fondo’s Gran Feed and Outdoor Expo sponsored by the Logan Downtown Alliance.
The Gran Feed will be held at the Logan Downtown Outdoor Expo on 100 North between Main Street and 100 West. Logan City will close the entire street for Saturday and welcome the Gran Fondo riders to eat, meet local vendors, win some prizes as part of the ride, listen to local bands and enjoy a great summer evening in downtown Logan. There will be activities for people of all ages. Additionally, thousands of community members will be mingling as part of the Downtown Logan Annual Sidewalk Sale adjacent to the finish area; this weekend also marks the season opening of the Cache Opera.
