NICA: Galena Gallop

September 10, 2016

NICA Idaho High School Cycling League

2016 Idaho Interscholastic Cycling League Race Series

One of the great things about a NICA League, which separates us from other youth cycling development programs, is we produce our own youth-specfic events. This means we pick out race venues and work directly with land owners and managers to produce the highest quality youth development race courses and events. The kids get a stage of their own, away from adult competitions, and we strive for safety and fun above all other factors.

Race Series is back! August 27th through October 8th, 2016

  • August 27: Jug Jamboree; Jug Mountain McCall ID

  • September 10: Galena Gallop; Galena Lodge Ketchum ID

  • September 17: Grand Charge; Grand Targheee Resort Alta, WY

  • September 24: Magic Mania; Magic Mountain Kimberly, ID

  • October 8: Avimor Avenger; Avimor Boise, ID

Due to the success and popularity of our 2015 racing season we are expanding the 2016 season by one race.  Also we’ll be starting racing earlier and racing more frequently for 2016.  The season will kick-off August 27th at Jug Mountain Ranch just outside McCall Idaho. After taking Labor day off in September we’ll be offering racing every weekend in September.  We’ll start by returning to Galena Lodge on the 10th, Grand Targhee Resort on the 17th and new for 2016 will be Magic Mountain Resort on the 24th.  We return to Avimor on October 8th for the State Championships.  We are so excited to be partnering with these various land owners and mangers as all of these venues represent some of the best riding, camping and beauty Idaho is known for.  Additionally, all of these venues have made a significant commitment to the sport of mountain biking as they all have invested in purpose built trail systems specifically engineered to accommodate beginner to advanced riders.
Rolling H Cycles supports and sponsors the Canyon County Composite Cycling (a.k.a. Team C4) again in 2016.
